The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Janet, the owner of this historical child size rocker, was flattered that I would take a picture of her beloved chair. It was given to her by the owner of a small, local chair manufacturing business known as Tappan Chairs. The company is located in Sandwich, NH. "One small New England town...one small business...together for nearly two hundred years" as claimed by their website. Janet is lucky to have, and appreciate her rocker that is steeped in NH history.
