I was fortunate enough to meet the owner of this property when out and about photographing. She was gracious enough to allow me to photograph these lovely falls at the Hall's Mill Site adjacent to her home. I taught Carol a little about photography, and Carol taught me a little about Hall's Mill. She stated, "It used to be a grist mill around 1800 and then an axe-handle factory around 1900. The wheel and the building are gone but the dam and the foundation remain." I also provided Carol with a couple of photos to thank her for her kindness. I do believe it was a fair trade, as now I get to enjoy this scene any time I wish. :-)
