The Northern Crested Caracara (Caracara cheriway), also called the Northern Caracara and Crested Caracara, is a bird of prey in the family Falconidae. The adult Caracara is a large, long-legged and flat-headed falcon. They have a black body and cap with a white neck and cheeks. They also have yellow legs and bare orangish skin around the face.
