A perfect card that is accurate to the artwork.

This art did not translate well in this printed card. The foreground detail does not show well, unfortunately. I do love the art itself.

I'm not sure this artwork can be accurately replicated in this format. I may try ordering it as a print to see if that will work better.

The image is a little dark but it is a card I will give at Christmas.
A chilly scene of the Old Pier at Salisbury Beach, MA. The wooden pier posts are dripping with icicles and frost as the huge waves approach, and an off-shore wind is shearing the tops off of the incoming waves.
Welcome to my Fine Art Gallery! I'm Betty Denise, and I am a native New Englander. As you will see when browsing through my gallery my photography, and artwork, are very much eclectic. I search for beauty all around me in seaside and mountain landscapes, and in beautiful cities and towns here in the Northeast U.S.. I also love searching for character in rustic old buildings, and great old finds in regional antique shops. Hopefully, there is something here for everyone to enjoy or relate to. My goal is to help buyers, and viewers like you, appreciate the beauty of what New England, and beyond, has to offer. My hope is to create images that evoke emotion, appreciation, or nostalgia in my viewers. You can browse here, comment on, and...

What a wonderful capture! The misty spray emanating from the top wave makes for a remarkable photograph. And the icicles and snow on the pier and pilings make it really special.
Betty Denise replied:
Thank you so much David! I am always intrigued when the wind blows the top of the waves. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :-)

I hear you Jeff! So many places that I've photographed over the years are now gone. It's so sad to see history disappearing in front of my eyes.
